Minorities and women are vastly underrepresented at the decision making tables of corporate boardrooms. As women, we have to support and motivate each other on our pathway to success. Corporate Curls is dedicated to encouraging, uplifting, and inspiring women to change the ratio.

For me, being a woman of color in a STEM field has presented a great deal of challenges. Many times along the way I considered giving up and switching my major to something less intimidating and demanding, even though that would have meant me walking away from my dream. I am very appreciative and thankful for the supportive women I have encountered along my journey who urged me to keep pushing forward. In April of 2014, I successfully completed my bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I achieved my dream! 

Now, I challenge you to pursue career paths that may have historically not been meant for women. I challenge you to be the inspiration for the next girl who may be looking up to you. I challenge you to change the ratio. I challenge you to have a seat at the table.
